Our Programs

Baby Bees (6 weeks - 12 Months)

Providing loving and responsive infant care from ages six weeks to twelve months, Busy Bees Preschool believes that every experience is an opportunity to learn and grow. Implemented for our youngest learners, our curriculum encourages active learning through play and daily experiences while developing the whole child. Our mobile and non-mobile infants receive individualized care in a warm and loving environment. Teacher interactions encourage cognitive, social-emotional development, as well as the development of fine and gross motor skills.

Lil Bees (12 Months - 18 Months)

Busy Bees Preschool nurtures the whole child in every area of development – physical, emotional, social, and intellectual. Toddlers transition from bottles to sippy cups, from cribs to cots, and to one mid-day nap. Our young toddlers become more independent with finger foods by feeding themselves at the table with teacher assistance. Verbal skills and fine motor skills develop in this classroom. Our state-aligned curriculum develops gross and fine motor skills, and provides opportunities for music, language, art, cognitive, social, and sensory experiences.

Busy Bees (18 Months - 3 years)

Children learn through play, exploration and socialization with other children in a developmentally appropriate environment. Our goal is to provide each child with a sound foundation for learning by providing choices and the guidance needed to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Our "Busy Bees" are introduced to the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors. They learn to play with others, make choices, take turns (sharing), and become more independent. Verbal skills continue to grow as words become clear and understandable. Social skills further develop as children begin to make the transition from parallel play (side-by-side) to play that includes friends. Self-help skills, including potty training, are a primary focus for our "Busy Bees" classroom.

Honey Bees (3 years - 4 years)

Every child is unique and we believe that success and growth come from encouragement and praise. Our teachers focus on building every child’s self-esteem and confidence through positive feedback and rewards. We nurture their natural strengths. A child sees the world around them with wonder and awe, and we believe in encouraging their natural curiosity.

Our 3-4 year olds continue mastering the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors and concepts such as days, weeks, and months of the year. We strive to create a sense of community in our classroom. The children are encouraged to share their thoughts, feelings, and ideas. Children share in classroom duties, fostering self-help skills, and working together with peers.

Bumble Bees (Preschool)

Research shows that children learn by doing, and they need many opportunities to explore and grow. Preschool activities that align with best practices can foster creativity, as well as promote emotional, cognitive, social, and physical development. Developmentally appropriate activities also build self-esteem and enthusiasm for learning.

Our preschool curriculum aligns with state standards and focuses on developing literacy, science, art and math skills.  These building blocks will ensure your child is ready for their transition to kindergarten.

Bee Hive (Kindergarten - 12 Years)

For our school age program, learning centers are set up and free exploration is encouraged. We use the space at Busy Bees Preschool as an extension of the classroom. Our school age program offers homework and virtual learning assistance. Extended care programs are offered when your child’s school is not in session.
